Jointly accredited by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and the Chartered Institute of Management (CMI), the SCQF Level 9 Management Modern Apprenticeship is a comprehensive framework for developing high-level managerial skills. Entry Requirements

There are no set requirements; however, an applicant is expected to have some relevant occupational experience in management, and the role must be relevant to the qualification being undertaken.

Method Of Study

Work-based learning.

Duration

The recommended duration for this framework is 12 – 18 months. However, any Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis when planning the duration for individuals.

Assessment Methods

Assessment methods may include gathering product evidence, personal reflective statements, workplace observation, oral/written questions, witness testimony and/or professional discussion.

Start Date

This is a roll-on, roll-off programme; therefore, there is no fixed start date.

Locations

Remote and work-based.

The “career skills” element in a technical apprenticeship typically refers to developing skills and attributes that contribute to an apprentice’s overall professional growth and success in their chosen career. While the technical aspect of the apprenticeship focuses on acquiring specific job-related skills and knowledge, the career skills component aims to enhance broader skills that are valuable in any professional setting.  The list of available career skills is vast and can be discussed either before or on joining the apprenticeship programme.
