No set requirements, however, the role must be relevant to the qualification being undertaken.

Method Of Study

Blended and work-based learning.

Duration

The recommended duration for this framework is 12 – 18 months. However, consideration of any Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) will be taken into account for planning the duration for individuals on a case-by-case basis.

Assessment Methods

Assessment methods may include gathering product evidence (example content with annotation to contextualise), written statements, workplace observation, witness testimony and/or professional discussion.

Start Date

This is a roll-on, roll-off programme therefore there is no fixed start date.

Remote and work-based.

Develop Skills and Competencies About Social Media Channels and Digital Platforms

Promote Content Through Social Media Channels, CRM Systems and Digital Platforms

Comply with Ethical, Legal, Regulatory Requirements and Codes of Practice in Digital Marketing

Occupational Units

A total of four occupational units are required in addition to the mandatory units. Below is a selection of common optional units for illustration only. There is a wide range to choose from, and the final selection will be tailored to individual learner needs.

Core Skills

There is one Core Skill requirement for this framework: Numeracy at SCQF Level 5.

If a learner has already achieved this Core Skill, it will not need to be completed again, in line with SQA’s commitment to lifelong learning. Where Numeracy has been attained at a higher level, this will contribute to the enhancement aspect of the framework.

Learners and employers can check prior attainment through Elite, using the Core Skills Profile provided by SQA.

We offer optional added-value training in the form of Marketing & Social Media courses to complement our Apprenticeship programmes.

These serve as a valuable enhancement, allowing apprentices to tailor their learning experience based on individual needs and preferences. Example courses include Digital Marketing & Metrics, Your Social Media Roadmap as well as an introduction to both SharePoint and Teams as part of the collaborative technologies commonly used in industry today.
