Responsibilities:
- To learn on the job and achieve the qualification
- Engage in development training to enhance your competence and capability
- Ensure online and in-person college classes are attended
- Ensure all college work is completed within the timescales
- Achieve an appropriate SVQ level qualification

On The Job Training – Sales / Commercial / Stock Management / Finance
Starting in the Sales Department, you will help maximise sales by combining customer growth with customer retention through effective and efficient communication.
You will be the initial point of contact for existing and new customers.
- Support business growth by advocating for the company, helping to grow the reputation and value.
- Welcome customers at the Trade Counter Reception and advise on the product
- Deliver exceptional Customer Service
- Answer phones and process incoming sales calls and emails
- Use a database and CRM system to log calls and process sales
- Send samples to customers
- Assist in building a new customer base
- Ensure brand strategy and product knowledge are up to date
- Optimise the quality of relationships with existing customer contacts to maximise retention
- Communicate well at all levels, internally and externally
- Process bespoke orders, quantities, and materials
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and to minimise double handling.
After approximately 3-6 months in the Sales Department, you will work shadow in the Commercial Department where you will learn to process, quote, draw, and estimate for bespoke business.
Before the end of the apprenticeship, you will have work shadowed in various departments, providing business support, gaining a wealth of experience and knowledge.
